How to be in your power
What is "being in your power"?
Being “in your power” means having a deep, unshakeable sense of self-confidence and inner strength that isn’t dependent on external validation. It’s about liking and loving who you are. It’s anchored in remembering that your power doesn't come from others - it comes from Source. Source, or the creative life force that flows through all things. Its vibrational frequency is unconditional love. Being in your power means, at your core, you know you are pure consciousness flowing this Source energy, embodied in physical form. This awareness connects you to the deepest and most potent source of power - one that is limitless.
When you're connected to this Source, you are no longer dependent on external validation to feel whole. Whether life presents you with desired or undesired experiences, your self-love and connection to your inner power remain intact. Sounds great, right? Well, it’s possible for you!
How Do We Cultivate This?
The key is building a rock-solid relationship with yourself. Consider how much of your day pulls you outward—towards distractions, external obligations, or validation from others. Now ask yourself: how much of your day pulls you inward, toward connection with yourself? That’s the map to your inner power.
To deeply connect with the magic of your being, you need quality time with yourself - time spent free from distractions, where you can fully attune to your emotions, desires, and creative impulses. This is the space where you get to know, appreciate, and love yourself.
This is different from the daily hustle of life where we give our attention to phones, tasks, TV, or other distractions. This is intentional “me time” without the interference of technology - just you, naturally. We’re each our own universe, and this time of exploration can become one of the most rewarding and joyful experiences once you allow yourself to go within.
The Goldmine Within
It’s hard to stay in your power if you aren’t spending time connecting to the real you. If you’re constantly distracted, seeking external validation, or looking for others to fill your emotional needs, you’ll be disconnected from your true power source - yourself. But the treasure you seek lies within you, and when you tap into it, you’ll realize you are everything you’ve been searching for.
A Simple Practice: Connecting with Yourself
Here’s my assignment for you: carve out more intentional alone time. Spend time with just yourself - no distractions, no devices - whether in your room or in nature. Focus inward. Get curious about your soul and set the intention to connect with it. Let go of expectations and follow where your soul wants to take you.
This is not your typical day-to-day mindset. It’s a deep soul connection, and it’s where your true power resides. Once you experience the beauty and magic of your inner world, you’ll naturally begin to value yourself more deeply. This foundational relationship to self is sacred and vital - and trust me, you’re worth it.
